My name is Linda and I live in St. John's Newfoundland here in God's country on the east coast of Canada. I use the name Sunny as it is my dog's name and I thought it was appropriate. I have been to the POP area of the DR four times now and I am returning in March. I had the pleasure of meeting Mark and sharing a drink on my last trip and look forward to finally meeting Colleen in March. We also had the pleasure of meeting Gregg and the lovely Giselle on our 2004 trip.

Hola!
My name is Leanne and I'm from Hillview, Newfoundland - I'm sure you've never heard of it! lol
Planning my second trip to POP area on April 17/06 for only one week (unfortunately). Can't wait to drop by CheckPoint again (was there this past April - and I've been telling everyone about it!)(Colleen - you said my laugh reminded you of your friend back in BC - you probably can't remember me...but I thought I'd try! lol) There are seven of us coming from St. John's and Calgary for a friends wedding at the Coral Marien - five of the group have never been to the DR, so we'll bring them along for a visit and an "orientation"! If you need anything brought down, just drop me a line...I'm also bringing things (books, crayons, toys)/money to donate to one of Debbie's charities. Four months, three weeks, three days...and counting! See you soon.

Hi everyone, Patrick and Tammy from Ontario, we both work in Orangeville and live in small towns nearby.
We are a couple who loves to travel and just came back from Sosua and a wonderful week where we met Colleen and Mark ( and their daughter Madelaine)
Can't wait for our next trip, maybe back to Sosua!!!!

Hello to everyone. I'm Dean & my wife is Norma and we have been to Casa Marina Hotels in 2004 & 2005 with our children. We are returning in 2006 for a much deserved 4 week vacation. We created a website this year on our return about Sosua so that like minded travellers had a place to look at photos, information on hotels, excursions and other interesting information on Sosua itself. Our first vacation we missed out so much on what Sosua and surrounding areas had to offer because we did not know what to expect. So we aim at putting that right. Hi gang and especially Mark and Colleen,
we are coming back to the DR for the 10 time, we absolutely love it there. Last year we had the fortune of meeting Colleen and Mark, was great to meet you. By the by the only hot good coffee found in the DR is a the Check point bar.!!
was just wondering colleen, do you want me to bring Canadian smokes or anything for you two? we arrive Feb 7 and are staying for the whole month. you guys will be the first stop and we are bringing folks who have never been there. am sooooooo looking forward to 28 days in the sun!
