Well, the Canucks are out and so are the Leafs. I am at a loss of who to cheer for in the playoffs.
I know that I hate Detroit and I hate the Flames, but it is hard to go against Kiprosoff this year.
Oh well, maybe a couple of rum's will help ease the pain.

Come on, folks! Let's get excited! This is the last Canadian Team left in the playoffs this year, and they have made it to the semi-finals!
They beat Anaheim tonight in Anaheim, and play Sunday in Edmonton on home ice....and the best part is, I can watch it here in the Dominican Republic!!!
Usually we go to Eddy's, and tonight there were at least 15 of us, mostly Canadians, there to watch- too cool.

As of yesterday they had only scored one goal in all the games but they put up a fight against the Oilers last night and lost 5-4...so at least they are beginning to remember where that black rubber thing is supposed to go! |

Go Leafs Go!!!!!!! Sorry Colleen but in this neck of the woods you find mostly Leaf and Habs fans, sadly for me I married one. With one Penguins fan and a Red Wings fan too hockey season in our house is pretty funny. Whenever the Leafs and the Habs are playing there are two loonies on top of th entertainment centre, I can always tell when I win because I don't wake up until the alarm goes off and they are still there. When the Habs win, hubby makes a point of waking me up to tell me.

I'm a Toronto Maple Leaf fan, but it's been torture to watch them lately. They have lost their last 6 games. Tucker has been playing great this season, but he can't do it alone!!! When is Sundin going to show up.   |

I am also a HUGE hockey fan and have been to a few Stanley Cup Playoff games as well. But....my team is the Buffalo Sabres locally.....BUT - I always root for the San Jose Sharks as well (they beat the Oilers last night - sorry)!! as my cousin Pat Marleau is the captain of the team!!!
