I was wondering if anybody knows any info the the Casa Maria Reef Resort. Cam and I were suppose to be staying at the Casa Maria Beach and Reef Resort, but they changed us to the other resort instead. I know that they are on the same property but of course I read a few reports on the one resort but not the other. We are counting down our days until we arrive December 23rd. Our weather out here in Ontario is quite nice, no jackets required today. Temperture was up to 15 warm for us, not like out west in beautiful BC or Alberta. Thanks, Chantal

Hey Chantal! Count your blessings buttercup! You're at the same complex in newer rooms, darling. You use all of the same facilities anyway but your room may even be closer to the main entrance to town, and also to the smaller, more intimate Buffet restaurant- both big pluses! The Casa Marina if you have not stayed there in the past is really good mid range hotel with nice grounds, and the food is fine- something for everyone. You must immediately book in a few of the a la carte restaurants, especially the Italian and Seascapes. ...counting sleeps yet?

Hi there, this is the link I found for the Casa Marina: www.conquestvacations.com/hotels/hotel.aspx?hc=CASAif this link doesn't work and somehow it may not but type in Conquest Vacations.com then just follow the links on the page and it will eventually take you to the Casa Marina. We have booked there as well and am so pleased to finally get there cause its soooooooooo close to the CheckPoint, home of fun and frolix, anddddddd Colleen and Mark!!!!!! Hope that you have fun! Hi Coppersun
With Colleen advising you will be within "staggering distance" to your hotel gets me to thinking there could be another----- "You know your drunk when............." to be had somewhere. Look forward to meeting you.

egoskier, I just read the post and noticed that you will be going to my favorite resort in two weeks and four days. No matter which side you are on Beach or Reef you have access to everything at both resorts (as was already mentioned), and it's great. Be sure to book your reservations to the Specialty restaurants the very next day. They only take the reservations at certain times of the day, I think they start at 9:30 or 10:00 so try to get there early because they fill up fast.
It is my favorite resort, that is where we always stay, be sure you go to the jacuzzis

egoskier, don't worry, Casa Marina is a nice resort and you'll have a blast. Once you're checked in you can't even tell that it was two seperate resorts. The reef side actually has nicer rooms. The beach on the reef side is calmer, it's in more of a cove and sheltered. The beach on the other side has huge waves (at least when we were there), you can do some serious body surfing here. We had a blast!! The jacuzzis are great for photo shots at sunset. Get yourself a nice cocktail and head over to the jacuzzis to get some amazing shots. I'm sure you'll have a great time there, we did.
