The wife and I are going to see the legendary Gordon Lightfoot at Massy Hall in Toronto, Ontario tonight. I was very, very lucky to get 5th row floor tickets through an unknown source. We both have seen Gordon Lightfoot once at the Casino Niagara in Niagara Falls, Ontario. And were both very, very lucky to go back stage and meet Gordon Lightfoot and got him to sign our ticket stubs! A night I will never forget! Mr Gordon Lightfoot "Canada's Singer/SongWriter! May his music live forever! Cheers, Cam

What a show!.....its the 2nd time I have seen Mr Lightfoot perform. This time he added some additional band members.
Gordon Lightfoot performed for an hour and a half with a 20min intermission between sets.
His voice was alittle weaker then the Jan 2006 performance at Casino Niagara, but its to be expected from a performer who has a busy schedule of shows and it was his 68 th birthday that night!
Also in the audience was John Turner and "rockn" Ronny Hawkins!
It was my first time at Massy Hall. The hall was built in the 1800's; very historic.
My favorite songs that he played were: "Canadian Railway" "Beautiful" "Sundown" "Rainy Day People" " "Edmund Fitzgerald" "If you could read my mind"
Cheers,
Cam

Hi Cam- WOW that sounds great! Sundown, I think, is my favorite Ssng, but then I read your list and it's a toss up! I shall be singing GL the rest of the afternoon, methinks, and as soon as Kim starts in about 1 minute I will request a song by him!!! Talk to you soon! Colleen
