Poor little Bobby was blue,
he couldn't pee or poo
But the vet came and went
promising an improvement
and soon he'll be jumping on you!

Ok- here's the real update (should I have posted the above in the limerick section???)
Bobby is having his first experience with a parasite, hence not eating or drinking and being extremely LETHARGIC...he won't leave Pam's side and doesn't even want to PLAY!!!
That's just not right- he's a PUPPY for gosh sakes!!!
Anyway, he's had his injections and has meds galore, so he'll soon be back to normal!
Kudos to Pam and Clive for being such great parents!

I just checked in on my way home and he is already having more bounce to his step!

Thanks for all the support guys ---- really, really appreciated, and the same sentiment goes to everyone here in Sosua who has shown their concern for Bobby's wellbeing.
Bobby has seen the vet again [third time this week] this morning and there is some improvement, although he remains very weak.
Colleen popped in to see him this morning and she managed to get a tail wagging from him. Yesterday was the first time he ate anything [about a fifth of a normal meal] since Monday so the signs are encouraging, but a long way to go. The vet [who himself seems to be developing flu] will be back tomorrow, although Bobby now hides when his doctor appears.
We will keep you updated.

Hi all
Well after much worry, and four visits by the vet, Bobby is on the way to being fit again, although one hind leg is still swollen.
He is nearly back to his previous eating habits [but it has taken a lot of coaxing] and today, I took him for his first proper long walk since he became poorly on Monday. We got home approx two hours ago and he has slept since.While we were out, he showed all the signs of being a real puppy again --- so much relief for us. All he has to do now, is put back the weight he lost and he will be back to normal [whatever 'normal' is]
