For those of us who return time and again to Sosua, it is always nice to see those friends you left behind. I think this could be a place for us to share our friends with our friends. William, Sandro, You can find him at the Beach beside the life guard shack. Great host.! This year he took us to the River for the day, What a blast!! Feels good to have a Dominican family, who loves you, it makes Paradise even better!

Great photos roybn! Thanks so much. I totally agree with you that it is wonderful to have a family kind of adopt you. I have not experience this yet, however my sister who lives in Bali half of the year has an Indonesian family there that has adopted her. This is great for us as we can call Dawar and his wife any time and they get messages to her if need be. so comforting. Thanks to all who do that for foreigners!!!
WANTED:: An adoptive family for me!!! Quiet, well mannered, and doesn't drink much...doesn't drink any less however, loveable, and willing to conform ( lalalalalal yep)

Coll I think the artist was in Canada and drew from a photo, it is done in charcol(pencil) and is amazing. The original is hanging proudly in the Britt and came from fellow Sosua and Machete lovers, Thomas and Maureen.
