Don't be scared to experience the Dominican outside the resort walls. You will be happy that you did. We have been at the DR three times, and never had anything bad happen to us. Use common sense. I talk about alot of do's and don'ts in a review I just wrote about our recent visit to Sosua and Casa Marina Reef & Beach. Relax, have fun and use your head. You will really enjoy your holiday more if you keep an open mind.
