When I found this cool site I just had to log-on and write a message. My daughter and myself (from Ontario) once again are off to Puerto Plata Mar2-14, saying at Breezes this time. I can hardly wait.We will for sure be heading to check point for a burger and beer.See ya then.

Welcome to the forum bbriann, nice to have you posting.
We stayed at the Breezes three years ago, and loved it all. They make the best chocolate covered bananas!!!!!! Hope you havea great time and remember they have free shuttle service to Sosua and Cabereta.

Definitely take advantage of the free shuttle service and plan to make a day of it in Sousa. Lunch a definite at Checkpoint.

I have been to Sousa a couple of years ago and am looking to returning in March.The shuttle to Sousa sounds good .Hopefully I can hang out with others from the Breezes.Definitely going to Checkpoint.
