Colleen and The Checkpoint

As vistors to the Checkpoint we always looked forward to stopping by for some Cervasas and Cheesburgers while in Sosua.
We were just planning for our trip to Puerto Plata in Feburary and discovered the sad and distressing news about Mark. Could someone please let us know how Colleen is doing, and if anyone has contact with her please let her know that the gang from Niagara Falls sends there condolences. Hi Debbie,
thank you so much for your kind words and thoughts for Colleen. She has been under lots of stress as you can well imagine but is doing as best as she can. She is in the DR at the present time and is sometimes on the forum. I am sure she will see your message and will answer you at some time. Please be patient as she is overwhelmed by the kindness of folks who know and love her.

Coppersun is quite accurate in what she says.

Colleen is here in Sosua at the moment, having good days bad days, however, she has her mum by her side and some very good friends [almost family] to aid and assist as and when required.

Currently Collen is working at Checkpoint Saturday and Sunday day shifts. On the outside she is enjoying it, although inside finding it emotionally draining.
