were at the beach aswell I heard that the hotel is undergoing renovations of the beach side rooms block by block.So hopefully you will get one of the recently renovated rooms.Do you know what the dress code is to use the a la carte restaurants?some people were saying that the men have to wear long trousers and some people say that 3/4 length are acceptable?

Hi there;
For the al a cartes, it seems the men do wear long pants (not for the buffet restaurants though).
Don't know about the 3/4 length- you could try it and see if they let you in! It's so nice not to have to dress up - especially after you've been in the sun all day and if it's humid like when we were there last, you're better off in shorts.
I hadn't realized they were renovating. We stayed there about 2.5 years ago - it actually wasn't too bad then, so I can't wait to see what they've done.

from what I have heard the renovations are in the rooms.
new paint,updating plumbing,new tv,lamps etc.They have also built a kids club called Kikos.
