It's hard to believe we have over 100 new members since last summer!
I just want to thank everyone who participates on a regular basis and has made this forum an interesting place to be.

Hello everyone,
Unlike most of the members who've posted on this forum , I have never been to Sosua but I sure hope to visit and maybe meet some of you in person. The reason I've joined you is that I want to get to know Colleen and folks who have been great friends to her and Mark since their move to the D.R. This is a terribly sad time for all of us and I really appreciate the support you can give Colleen, Madeline and each other. Thanks to Spanky for the quick reply to my email; for any information about the arrangements being planned back in Vancouver, we are very grateful. Mark is my brother, but I barely know him and I miss him so much. My heart is broken because I will never get to know him the way many of you have. I'm part of a large, loving family on the West Coast of Canada; sisters and a brother who all love Mark deeply and have missed him for a very long time. I only wish we'd known that this forum existed before Mark was taken from family and friends, but I am so very grateful to know now that you're all here. Thanks.

Hi and welcome to Vanislekerry.
Just by reading the Checkpoint website and forum will give you a little insight to Mark.
May I suggest that you might PM "coppersun" who is our main forum moderator, who lives in Canada and is helping everyone from there with what info there is. Also, "coppersun" and her husband Alf are very good friends of Mark and Colleen, [as well as Pam and myself]
