Andrea from Chicago here... Just wanted to pop in and say hello and thank you for a wonderful visit to Sosua, which hopefully was the first of many. Checkpoint made my trip... I really enjoyed meeting all the usual suspects, as well as a few other random travelers like myself. I moved the day before my trip to the DR, so I'll be incommunicado for a while as I get my new place set up and wired for sound (writing to you now from New Jersey, on a layover)... but rest assured, I will be back!  |

Welcome to the board, Andrea! I'm a newbie, too, but you're one step ahead of me, as I haven't been to Sosua yet. Heading down in July.
The people are this board are fantastic, and so helpful, especially Colleen and Coppersun!
I look forward to hearing about your trip, expecially from the perpective of a first timer.
Congrats on your new place!
