Been lurking on the board for a couple weeks, but haven't had time to introduce myself. Originally from Ontario, but currently working on a 3-month contract in Vancouver, BC, then hoping to head for the Dominican in mid-July. I'm trying to convince my daughter to meet up with me there - she's been living/working in Florida for six months, so we have been looking forward to spending a week together somewhere for some R&R. We both love to travel but wanted it to be somewhere neither of us had been before, so I've been net-surfing the D.R., and discovered Sosua and all the wonderful people on this board.

Have lots of questions about Sosua, but will keep this short and post questions separately on the General Board.

Thanks for the welcome, CopperSun! That's what reminded me that I should introduce myself.
