hello from Invermere, British Columbia!
my husband and I took our first trip to the Dominican this past April, and have decided that this is where we would like to retire. We are planning a trip to Sosua this April to relax in the sun as well as check out Sosua (we did not make it there last trip), and hopefully look at purchasing a villa. Look forward to hearing from anyone living there for some tips and suggestions.

we are thinking of renting a villa at "Residential Hispaniola" for 6 weeks. Does anyone know it? How far from beach etc. Any other recommendations? Thanks

Hi Slazette.
Welcome to the board!! so nice to have you here. My husband and love Sousa and are also planning on retiring there. Please read the thread about moving and you can ask any question about moving to the DR. Colleen and Mark are wonderful folks and I hope you make a trip to Sousa the next time you are over. Many questions about moving there have been answered but the best thing to do in my opinion is look around and ask questions when you are there.
