Sosua Bay Hotel

Hello! We will be arriving in Sosua on April 17th for one week. We booked at the Sosua Bay hotel.

Since then, I have been reading some reviews of the net and I am concern about them.

They are good reviews, and of course a lot of bad ones. I am not too difficult to satisfy, as long as the room is clean, staff friendly and food is good, no problem, I will be the happiest men on earth!

My main concern is food. A lot of reviews are mentionning that a lot of guest were seriously ill during their stay because of a some kind of a G.I. virus that has been around for a few months now.

What I am looking for is just for an honest input if you have been there or if you know the place !

Welcome aboard, I would be really interested in your review when you get back, we have looked at this particular hotel before but have not booked it. I would love to hear your honest opinion of it when you get back. Please and thank you.
Is this your first trip to the Dominican?? I hope you absolutely have a great time! Its an awesome country. Make sure you have a few brew with Mark and Colleen at the Checkstop, they are fantastic folks!

For sure, I will let you know exactly how the trip was!! It is my second time in DR. I went there about 8 years ago in Cabarete! Never went to Puerto Plata or Sosua, I'm sure I will enjoy the trip!
