To quote Mac's post on Debbie's forum: I did the whole search thing and the only property that I found on the North Coast that was termed "Adults Only" was the Jack Tar, and then I found that they had changed their policy. We were at the Iberostar last month and each evening the Kids Club marched thru the dining room (and also thru the other restaurants) promoting what they were doing for "tonight's show" On the evening that was the Lion King, the animation team, dressed as lions, came thru and scared the s+++ out of my wife by crawling on the floor, in the restaurant and grabbed her leg underneath the tablecloth. Do I need this at dinner We have had kids, been there, done that, gone thru all the problems and embarrassing moments in restaurants etc. but now we are past that, but we love Puerto Plata and would like to go to an AI that is adult oriented. Any suggestions Mac

Mac...I am searching online but haven't found one other than Jack Tar. Get your hands on some of the Tour Operator brochures- Air Canada Vacations, Air Transat Holidays, Sunquest etc., and see if they list any in them. The disruptions during dinner that you talk about wouldn't be appreciated by everyone! We'll see what we can find out about Adults Only resorts and if there are any.

I thought Jack Tar was the only one on the north...I think there is one on the east coast but don't quote me on it
Also..off topic...I can't access debbie's page. It only downloads to the Wuds site and then it stops..anyone else have or had this problem

Mac, I understand where you are coming from. I too don't enjoy kids while I am on vacation without mine. I have been to the Breezes POP twice now and we are returning in March. I have to say that we have not encountered any thing like you mentioned. They do have a children's disco at night but they don't come through the restaurants. I find too that if you go to dinner after 7:30 then most of the kids are gone from the area. Breezes has different pockets for the seating of the buffet restaurant and in the place where we sat each night we didn't see any kids at all.
