Britannia Dave's story should be sold
And everyone must be told
For all those in need
He'll do his utmost to feed
'Cos the man's heart is pure solid gold
A few hours work on the aircraft
Then gin and tonics by the drought
He will always assist
Even when pissed
The poor, the stranded, the daft
No matter where lies the blame
His reactions are just the same
Someone may yelp
He'll offer to help
His name's always "in the frame"
Bringing up children is always a task
In his role as dad, he does bask
He treats them well
We all can tell
A better father they could not ask
With Carmen, his wife, the family's complete
Receiving from him the occasional treat
So our Dave is just right
And he possibly might
