Ode to Liam’s “Freudian slip”
On Monday at Checkpoint Liam did squat
On a stool he positioned his bot’
He had a few drinks
Too many me thinks
Making him slip on greasy kumquat
The next day we saw
His abrasions quite raw
But he played it down
Without even a frown
The night he literally hit the floor
It is now Wednesday night
Will there be some respite?
But he took it steady
So that he would be ready
For the next days work he’d be bright.
There’s a moral to this little tale
When supping our glorious ale
Have fun while you’re drinking
But always be thinking
Common sense should always prevail
