Yeah, so, had to leave Rex in the pay parking overnight, we spent 30 minutes trying to boost him and no luck. And getting a tow truck within 12 hours, we forget that too. So my friend from work picked me up, we stopped by the parking lot to pay for the day so I could leave him there, and we will try after 4 o'clock today to start him. It was also cheaper than a tow, but I hope he starts tonight so I can take the little guy home to his garage where he belongs.
And Lois.....Sauturday is not too far away, so I can't feel bad for you. I have 19 more of these ugly days! ;D

Cooper, there is relief in sight for you, only 6 days left for you. Then sun, warmth ;D ;D ;D and NO SNOW OR COLD!!!  We are down to 3, but as usual, who is counting!!!!! |

They are predicting a heat wave for tomorrow.....only - 44 and no wind chill lol lol lol ok not funny, but hell if you don't laugh and you start crying the tears will freeze. WARNING: if you talk outside you will have to bring the frozen words inside to melt before you can hear what was said.  |

:oThis is nuts. Our hotel lost its main heat make up air thingy late last night. the lobby and hall ways are freezzzzzziiiing its about the same temp inside as out. God they had to move all the west wing folks into the tower last night arghhhhhhhhhh. My front gals sure used their heads way to go gals!!! hope this gets fixed cause my office is to cold to work in, heyyyyyy wait a minute to cold hmmmm  might have to start my holidays early lol lol nah I will just work out of the tower. dammmmmmm was a good thought though!!!! |

MP sure would have liked to have met up with you and Copper at the same time. But as I said earlier maybe next year. Normally we go the last two weeks of February but due to flight arrangements we are going two weeks earlier then normal. Do not worry about Copper as I am sure she can take care of herself,  and if not, what da ......... we are on holidays. Looking forward to meeting up with Kristine, wish we would all be there at the same time, but you can take over looking after Kristine ;D after I leave. Have a great trip MP, only wish I had the four weeks that Kristine has. Retirement, hurry up.  Safe flight and trip to you MP and take care. |

Okay, I am getting worried. It is snowing like crazy here in Ottawa and we are expecting up to 30cm. Two years ago we spent 23 hours at the airport and lost one whole day of our vacation. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we still fly out tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. ;D ;D Really makes you anxious for the sun and warm weather. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed that this stupid snow stops in time and we take off as scheduled. Take care everyone and if everything goes as planned, this time tomorrow, sun, sun, sun and more sun and of course, some cervezas.   ;D ;D ;D |

I heard that it is supposed to stop by later on this evening, here in the GTA and I think up your way as well. I am keeping my fingers crossed that you are able to fly out as scheduled tommorow. I am sitting here looking at this darn snow as well. I took a snow day.

Here we are again in another deep freeze. Feels Like: -38 and winds gusting up to 60 km/h. Nice. At least the sun is shining. I'm getting a facial tan through my livingroom window!

Well, was out this morning to a tanning session - I NEED to feel the real sun on my face!
It was -14C and with windchill, felt like -25C. That may not seem so bad to you out on the praries BUT, for us in southwest Ontario (also know as "the banana belt of Ontario"), it is FRIKIN' COLD!!
Only 13 more sleeps and we will be in the wonder Puerto Plata warmth!
Mizpiggy - have to set a date to meet up at Checkpoint!
Colleen - I picked up a bottle of Miracle Whip today to bring for my burger!!!

You name the date, we know the place dot! It may be easier for you to set the date as we are staying in Sosua, so us getting to Checkpoint is not a big deal. You have to travel there, so I'll let you make the decision (if that's ok)!
