It's a balmy +4C here in Northwestern Ontario. Can't wait to get to the DR for some much needed rest and relaxation!

Here just north of the Big Smoke, it's +10 with a high forecast of +14 tomorrow. I go outside and it feels like spring and then I remember that winter hasn't come yet. We are having a tough time feeling pity for the Vancouverites and Victorians at the moment because when our normal winter sets in(cold and at least 12-15 feet of snow here in the lee of Georgian Bay) the folks in la la land will be basking in + temps. As for you guys on the prairies, enjoy!!! It's why you live there, isn't it? In 60 days I'll be basking in the sun in Sosua. Will probably meet up with some of you at Checkpoint.

Coppersun - sounds like the temps we get here in mid-December to the end of February. You poor thing! You're in Saskatchewan? Anywhere near Guernsey? I have family there. Yeah, it's been pretty bad in parts of BC lately. We should get our regular 10-15 feet of snow this year. Yesterday was cold and freezing rain. Roads and highways were treacherous. Today it's clear, sunny and +1. It has been a very warm, dry fall so far to the point that we've been under a water conservation advisory since September. Rural wells are running dry and Lake Superior is pretty low for the first time since I can remember. Not a good sign when us Northern Ontarians say it's not normal for temps to be so warm here. We should be freezing our butts off by now. I mention that often in my blog. It's actually is making me worried. In 20 years from now, will Northwestern Ontario be a tropical paradise? Global warming? www.atomiczombie.com/info.htm

Hi there,
Over here it's pretty warm for the season. Our climate is a little confused because it's to warm here for this time of the year. Hottest year in 300 years here or something like that.
But i'm looking forward to my visit which i planned for next april

Hi rembrand! Nice to see you. From what I have heard it is very warm in the DR in april, but nothing that folks can't handle, it is somewhat like when we go in March, hot and humid. just the way welike it! Hope to see you on the board again.
