Wow, gosh you guys, do they get tremors often? That is really weird, I didn't think there was a fault or anything close to you. hmmm am going to do some research on this.
After the crap in 2004 with the Tsunami I did lots of reading etc. as that affected my family. Didn't even think of the DR.
BE SAFE my friends!!

Don't get tremors very often [thank goodness] although there was one about four years ago that did cause some structural damage.
Thanks for the message of care.

I believe that last quake was around Sept/Oct 2003. The Texaco station got trashed, hence the nice new one. It was about 4 or 5 months later that the new beach began at the Waterfront. Interesting to see if there will be any tidal changes in the next while around the north coast.

Yes they may be changed, would depend on where the epi centre of the quake was located. ugh Gosh I hate when I hear things like that.

I was sitting at the computer and my chair started moving...THEN I looked over and the TV was rocking on its stand, which is on wheels- I got up, and the floor was still moving- very surreal feeling...so I put my hand on the TV to slow it down and keep it from falling! It was really wierd- I was still home with the 'flu and wondered if I was imagining things, but I called Checkpoint and Mark and everyone there felt it too! Yup, it was rather strange.....my first one here.
