Well, at last! After the recent warm spell we are thankfully getting some rain. Pure liquid sunshine, although not much cooler yet.
What's happening where you are?

Here on the rock it is over cast and gloomy but the sun did try to peek through about an hour ago. It's not cold so that is a good thing, yesterday was actually humid.

And what's it like in the sunny South Okanagan you ask? Well, I have a friend who is getting married on Friday and the weather is going to be sunny and a very balmy 18 Celsius. Not too shabby for the middle of October! Today we are FINALLY getting the rain we've been looking for since June. Damn, that means I'll have to mow that lawn one more time.......................

Oh once again I must feel sad for those with a Dominican Gardner and a Dominican Maid. NOT!!! Man what I would do for that maid, I promise I would never complain about having to get out of the house. While I can have a maid here in canada it cost a lot more than 10 dollars.

BUT the huge corner lot that seemed like a good idea at the time now just seems like too much work so I think I would opt for the gardener!!

We bought a 5 acre lot with lots of mature trees. his has been our first fall. So I too would opt for the Gardner but I think I need two.

Watch 'Desparate Housewives' I'm sure Pam [the better half] would not like it if I started looking at other women --- especially married ones.

Oh Spanky, it's the touching that gets you in trouble not the looking. I am of the opinion that God gave me two perfectly good eyes so I can enjoy the view, touching is another matter all together.

That reminds me of an old motto used by London barrowboys
"You can look at the goods, but don't touch."
It's always worked for me, and now that I tarbend, I use the three wise monkey rule
"Hear no evil" "see no evil" "speak no evil"
Had occasions recently where two different people on separate occasions "poured their hearts out". Nobody else will ever know what was said. Especially as I've slept since then and the grey cells are getting worn out.
