Recipes, This could be good and bad. I could fill this area of the forum up very fast. I love, love to bake and cook, more appertizers, finger food then anything else, but bake anything sweet. I think christmas is my favorite time, cause of all the baking I can do. I hope to share many recipes with new fellow friends. Can't wait! Sharon

Right on, Sharon! I also share your love of cooking, as do many of the members I know will be joining in the near future (hint, hint, dear friends- old and new)... So go ahead, Sharon Start sharing! We are moving into a studio with a stove but no oven (egads- no OVEN???) so Mark had bought me a brand new Slow Cooker. Next comes the largest Toaster/Oven I can find. So dig into the archives, darlings...and help me with some slow cooker recipes! Thanks! Coll

When I use my slow cooker for roast beef....I put in the beef with onion soup mix, turn on up to 8-10 hours and then you have a good base for gravy or just use the onion soup to top the beef with. Nice and tender and juicy. Sharon

Mmmmm you just gave me a craving, Sharon! I do that as well as just onions, water and red wine with a touch of boullion and it makes an awesome beef dip. This winter one of my specials at the bar is going to be beef dip. I will also be bringing back Xmas on a Bun and my famous meatball subs.

you will have to explain xmas on a bun? Sharon Sharon: This is a HIT during the winter here with my Canadian customers, especially... I cook turkey and stuffing and make cold bunwiches with gravy on one side and cranberries on the other- "Boxing Day Lunch"... my absolute favorite, and YES cold gravy is awesome! May sound funny but it works. P.S. My stuffing is great!
