;D I'll tell you where we are going next - straight back to the travel agent as we are missing sosua and checkpoint like crazy. Raining in England and there are no dogs for mother in law to feed. Crazy woman! Take it easy and keep up all the good work for the Sosua kids and animal life.

Well last night was rather a sad one for me, as I said goodbye to my sister who is going back to Indonesia for six months. Gosh it was so good to see her again and especially at Christmas time. On the bright side she is also travelling to Koa Liphe in Thailand to see our brother! We are hoping to travel to Thailand this summer to see him. It was a bitter sweet goodbye as we are leaving in 23 sleeps for the country we have fallen in love with (dominican) but will still miss her. She owns an import company and does most of the buying in the villages in Indonesia and Mylasia, this way the villages get the profit and not the bigger wholesellers. I am so proud of her for doing that. I keep telling her that she needs to check out the pottery and silver, and amber in the dominican.

I hope to be off to Hawaii sometime in the late fall as my sister won airfare for 2 and she invited me along. Now, we just have to find cheap, cheap, (but clean) accomodation. Would have been more to my liking if it had been to the DR, but what the heck-there is sun there!
Main destination is back to the DR-Sousa/Cabarete area in time for New Years 2007. Anyone been down there for New Years? What can we expect? Is it as big a deal down there? We usually do not go crazy here, but what a great way to start the year!
