Hifiman, myself and our wives are having a M&G at Checkpoint Bar in Sosua in the 19th of Feb. starting at noon. ;D Anyone in the north coast area come on down and put some faces to names. ;D Captain2002 Colleen, I guess I should have asked first, but if it works you will get additional business. Not like me to put the cart bedore the horse.

Colleen, Captain has promised to have a Barcelo Anjeo and diet coke for me along with one of your famous burgers. Can you please see that he lives up to that promise?

I was actuall supposed to be in Sosua now, but plans got pushed back, so I will be there in May again, BUT a friend of mine is going to be there on the 8th at a resort near Juan Dolio, can't think of the name. I told him that if they did manage to make it to Sosua, to try and get there for the meet and greet. We'll see if he makes it. i don't think he knows how far one place is from the other. lol

I am so sorry we did not make it on the 19th. Darlene was to pick us up again, this time at 11:30. We waited till just past noon, we know what Dominican time can be--LOL. and called Darlene. She had left a message for us the day before at the Mambo front desk, saying she had something come up. You guessed it we never got the message. I had the front desk try and find a number for Checkpoint--nada, Roger had said he had no car. Now what? It would take 30 minutes to get a cab, 45 minutes to get there and $65.00. I was sure that no one would be there, so I spent the rest of the day p----d off.
Sorry people. have a great time with Olive next wee.
Chris & Nenita.
