Hello friends! I am settled in Canada trying to stay warm! It is chilly when you haven't spent a winter in a winter climate for four years! Yikes...what's that WHITE SPARKLY STUFF FLOATING FROM THE SKY?
It kinda crunches under your feet and makes you feel like a little kid again? Oh yeah.....SNOW!!!!!!None left here but arrived on Sunday to snow in Vancouver and the trees were beautiful! Everything was under a beautiful blanket....which got rained on in the night leaving no trace of it by morning!
I have had a couple of PM's for a mailing address in Canada for people to send cards and pictures to, so thought I would post it here...along with a special request.
Some of you have said you have some great pictures of us with you over the last few years and maybe you can assist me in putting together my memory book. This is a tribute I am making for our family to treasure the times we had with people we met from all over. I am looking for pictures from special events and parties we hosted as well as donations made, etc. Also if you have a special memory of why your Dominican experience was made special by being at Checkpoint, tell all!
I will take some pictures of the finished product in a few months time when I am ready to share, and post them on my new website.
So think hard, and dig through your archives...if you don't have anything to send a hard copy of, email me your pictures and I can print it using my photo printer.
Thanks for your help...I will try and answer your notes in due time as well.
