Do you know if the Guinness that is sold in the Britannia is the proper Guinness or the foreign extra strength that you get in other Caribbean Islands???
Its for Paddy he gets a little upset if he cant have a Guinness on his hols!!!
Also have you ever been to Jose O'Shays in Cabarete??? If so do you know if they sell the proper stuff?? I'm on a mission to save Paddy!!!!

Yes I have been to Jose O'Shea's in Cabarete, but regret that I have no idea what type of Guiness both places sell, but will ask around and see if I get info for you.

Alan, tell your friend to come to Newfoundland Canada. We are an island, not quite as warm as the the DR in March, but an island just the same. My friend's business has the distribution rights to all the Guinness products here on the island and it comes directly from Ireland. I am partial to a nice cold Harp myself. We start celebrating St. Paddy's day on Thursday and it continues right on into Monday, the bulk of native Newfoundlanders are of Irish descent so he will feel right at home.

Hi Sunny, thanks for your reply,my Dad Paddy would love it there!! he'd think he'd died and gone to heaven ;D was looking at your beautiful Newfoundland,it reminds me of the west of Ireland beautiful and green. We live on the east coast Dublin about ten mins drive from the airport.It's very built up-houses everywhere you look nowadays because the price of property is so expensive,anyway keep in touch  Antoinette |
