hi I did not see any renovations going on apart from some painting in the hallways . They are many people who will find fault about anything. They are sad and cant enjoy themselves. The hotel is well laid out and very clean, the food is good and the staff are so friendly and are always smiling. The monster truck is a good trip to go on as you will learn alot about the people and the country. Its good to donate,we also make donations. Have good one

First to the Ïsle of Man'ers
Glad you had a blast at Checkpoint. I do get a bit concerned with the guest bartender, but what a night that was. Pi--ed or what!!!! At least I got to have a drink or two as well.
Well done to Andy and thanks to all four [Trish James Dave Andy {in no particular order}] for [1] your contribution to Sosua Kids and [2] enjoying yourselves at our little watering hole.
We love and adore you all and hopefully next time you are here, Colleen can join in the fun
Second to the "Irish people"
No idea yet what funds you have to donate, but when the manxmen arrive they have a "presentation" day where photos etc are taken so that people back home can see the money going to throught he proper channels. This presentaion is often held at the Britannia Bar, although they can also be arranged at Checkpoint. [we held a celebration of a cheque last Friday with 4500 Euros being donated and had a real fun night. So have a think. Maybe we can do something for you guys.

Hi Spanky, I think we will have an Irish nite . Antoinette is having a collection around Beaumont Hospital in Dublin....So far she has managed to raise €1400.00 around $2000.00!!! She still has 3 weeks to go, so hopefully she'll get a bit more!! Also we have the educational items for the schools in the extra 20Kg we got from the Airline!!! Dont worry I'll squeeze your Bisto gravy in another bag ;D . Thats a great idea about the presentation nite in the Britannia, maybe you can organise that! We arrive on the 24th of October and intend to make use of the all inclusive bar for the 1st day or 2 ;D so maybe the 3rd of 4th day/nite would be perfect!!! I;ll drop the educational stuff at the checkpoint bar on the second day and will have a quick beer or 6!! or if you wish I can hold onto it untill the presentation/Irish nite. Got a lot of lovely donated items, we also got some kids clothes thrown in as well (shorts, underwear, shirts, socks etc)..We could bring more but luggage is full!! I'll tell you about the luggage scam later!! Talk to you soon Alan & Antoinette
