Hello everyone: It has been a very hard few weeks, but we have managed, Mom, myself and Madeline, to get through travelling back to Canada, set up Mark's memorial here in Vancouver, and feel our way through the days.
Now, perhaps, the healing can begin.
I will be travelling throughout B.C. and visiting friends and relatives for the next several weeks. If anyone needs to know how to get reach of me, they can do so through Copper or Spanky. They will always know where I am and can forward e-mails, etc.
I also welcome PM's now, though I cannot promise an answer right away.
I wish not to talk about this tragedy, as I am not quite ready to yet, but about the happy times and the memories. As we all begin to heal and realize the impact that Mark's sudden removal from our lives has had on so many people, let us also celebrate what he brought to each and every one of us. Those closest will feel the pain the worst, but ALL OF US must grieve and come to terms with our loss.
I have had some very trying times and some very wonderful moments, but see some light at the end of the tunnel...it is all the love and hope and caring I have received that have helped me through the first month of losing my husband...and it will carry me through the next few more.
Thanks to all of you who are helping me heal. I can't explain how much it means.
I will likely never catch up on all the emails received, but hope to try in the next few months to get back to you all.
Love and peace, Colleen
