 Hi everyone! You have likely noticed I have not been on for a while- sorry! After moving into our new house, we have been very busy but our internet has stopped working- a line problem...as soon as we're back up and rumming I will post some replies!!! Hey Hey hey, there all you guys,
I must apologize for not being on here, but guess what" I AM BACK!!!! mawhauwwww ( evil Laugh)
so much to say and tell you all. So sit back, relax, pull up a chair.....
To start with: missing you all so much!!!
Congrats Coll and Mark on the new home. I think this is wonderful!
Kathy, was so great to see you and Dave again. will be in touch really soon!
So the new:
1. I AM RETIRED!!!!! can you believe it, yep done, fini, no more.
2. Spent a week in Regina at our annual Saskatchewan Emergency Planners Association. Was really great.
3. after that,I just spent the last three weeks packing up my dad, moving my dad, and unpacking my dad. We are just so thrilled that he decided to move up here to be with us. He has a wonderful place. It is an adult living condo-type place. He can have all his meals supplied or can cook for himself. I think he will take advantage of the meal thing. He has a one bed room suite with a full kitchen and large living room, balcony to die for ( lots of plants coming this summer hehehehehehe!) and a very large bedroom. lots of storage space etc. So have been super busy with that. CAUSE when we were in the DR he decided to pack..... knowing full well that he was not to do that until I got home. Oh Well, so anyway he packed EVERYTHING!! lol, man have we had a go round separating things for garage sale and getting him settled. ugh I don't want to do that again for a long time.
I bought myself a new computer, its a sweety, only thing it has this new Vista program, it is going to take me awhile to get use to it but so far so good.
Alf is getting into his busy time, the company he works for has a "turnaround' this means they rip the plant apart and do any repairs needed etc. So for him he is now working straight through, will put in about 90 days straight. he will be a tired boy but man o man gotta love that over time!
so what am I gonna do, well absolutely nothing. This will be the first summer that I have had off for the last 32 years. I really am going to enjoy it. I have a bedroom to paint, and am looking forward to that as I love to paint.
Am going to do a lot of gardening this year. Loved talking stuff with kath when I was there. And of course the grandkids. So will be busy busy busy.
BUT first, I had major boxes to go through from my office. That will keep me busy for awhile. and then who knows....
My sister is on her way back to Kelowna for the summer months to sell her stuff she has sent back from Thailand, Indonesia and Maylasia. so am planning a trip out there this summer.
hmmmm I just looked back and saw that I was going to do nothing lol ya right!
I feel that I have been away from the forum for years and must catch up with all of you soon!!

YAY! Thanks for sharing Kristine! We miss you and had such a good time with you two...can't wait for you to return to this little "paradise" of ours!
We are settling nicely into our new home and have lots of things planned. Mom leaves this week so she and I are going to go to Santiago for two nights and be back for one last Happy hour for her on Wednesday....
After she's gone a big hole will be left behind, but life will surely go on!
We'll miss her after four wonderful months!!!
I will be back on here a lot more then, for sure.

omg where did the four months go, I know how quickly our month passed SIGHHHHHHH I just can't believe she is coming home. BUt that is good for me cause now its closer to us.
I need to aska really dumb one, where abouts is Oliver??/ Am going to kelowna this summer so might swing by. I guess I could look on the map but nah to easy. lol

Kristine, so that's where you've been and what you've been doing. I forgot you were going to your dad's.
