I spend a lot of time thinking about the DR, the great people, the fabulous weather, the upbeat music and how soon can I get back to all of it? The rest of the time is spent between 2 jobs, housecleaning, shopping, keeping the peace between family members,figuring out how I can get the TV remote away from the Mr. and out of that GD beat up, duct tape thing he calls a recliner and convince him we should retire to the Dominican Republic.
In my down time I like to drink and sit around in my long johns listening to old sea shantys and making shadow puppets.

Well, in my fantasy life, I personally dream about sitting around the Checkpoint, visiting Colleen, Mark, Caroline and Spanky (and whoever else is there.......like hi, Liam, Stephanie and all) drinking beer and the Spankerators awesome paralyzers 24/7.
However in my real life, I am furiously trying to learn everything I need to know about my new job. You can teach an old dog new tricks. Who knew?

What do I do all day?  ? TALK, TALK, TALK!!! Give directions, serve drinks and food until I can change places and sit on the OTHER side of the bar while Spanky serves me!!! |

I was a "coppersun" last year and now I am back to the daily grind. (I am so jealous. LOL) But you'll have fun Kris, don't worry, you really will. Soon you'll be saying "Where the heck did the summer go?"  |

Like mommacat, I also think about the DR numerous times per day and think of the great people I met there (her included), and counting down the months/days until July when I will be back again...and in between, I work and play.

Gosh what do I do all day,. well let me see, between day dreaming bout the DR, unpacking boxes, washing stuff, putting stuff away, biting my tongue etc days are pretty full right now, but the end is in site! yipeeeeeeeeeeeeee
