menu anyone?

Hi, we are a group of 7 people coming to Casa Marina Beach this Saturday (march 31st) we have been to P.O.P several times but never Sosua. we cannot wait!!!! Heard ALL good things about CHECKPOINT. and since I get so sick of resort food I always venture off in search of good food......In P.O.P we quite often ate the burgers and wings at hemmingways!

Anyways...just wondering if anyone has a copy of the whole menu for checkpoint. Love to see it ahead of time. I know we are going to try those cheeseburgers....want to see what else there is and prices too (if possible)

I am going to print off a map of how to get there too. Is it walking distance from Casa Marina or more like cab distance?

oh yes its walking distance!! you can walk to everything you need in sosua withing 5 min. you will be so impressed with sosua you will never go anywhere else. go back to the checkpoint website and they have a menu and prices down the right hand side of the home page, have fun Brenda

btw, I thought all that was posted was the specials of the days of the week, not a full menu...i will go back and check, i was just kinda wondering if they had like fish n chips.....french fries...chicken strips...chicken wings....stuff like like that!

Hi Lora, and Welcome to our forum!
Okay- we are a Kiosk Bar in Beach Way Plaza, just down the road from Casa Marina, as you'll see by the map. Due to space restrictions I don't have a deep fryer, so I do specials daily and theychange week to week, with Burger Day Thursday and Friday every week (unless we're away, of course!)
The week you are here, there's lots going on so be sure to check in with us when you hit Sosúa!
On Wed April 4th we're having a Special Event- a group of Gaelic Musicians- starts at 6 PM.
The week you are here, I will likely be doing Grilled Sandwiched and All Day Pancake Breakfasts on Monday/Tuesday, Beef Dip or Chili on the Wednesday, and Burgers Thur/Fri.
