Hi Guys,
Just in case you're upset about anything right now,I'd just like you to know that as I type this, there is a 45C difference in temp between Sosua and Midland and you know who is at the low end.In 2 1/2 weeks we'll be down there revelling in the warmth and the fact there are no politicians to spoil my day.
Keep smiling and let us know if you want us to bring anything down for you.

Thanks for the reply,Colleen.One thing I forgot toask the other day.I have a slew of ball gloves to bring down for kids who don't have one and the only contact I have is Lindo,the waiter, at Britannia pub.Do you know of anyone who can disburse them to needy kids? I gave a bunch to Lindo last year and I'd like to spread the wealth, so to speak. Anyway, I'll leave that with you for the moment. Cheers, John

That's great! FYI The Britannia is temporarily closed until mid January and I am not sure when Lindo will be back to work...will keep you posted. I do, however know of a few Christmas Drives: One is hosted by RUBI 92.5 FM and has a HEAP of corporate donations, mostly monetary coming in. We are looking for toys, ball gloves, bats, etc...that's one thought.
There are also a few other ideas I can think of.
We can talk when you get here! Can't wait!!!

The Britannia is closed for a bit. Holy sheep droppings!!!That means more beer at the Checkpoint on the way to the beach. I can handle that for sure.
