Snowy days!

Ohhhhh the weather outside is frightful....

Ok I'll stop singing As I look out my window I see blowing snow...my car is covered in it yet again...so it begins. The good ol' Winnipeg winter is here to stay, now comes the challenge of waiting until February to get out of here!

All of us in our group are getting so excited it seems the colder it gets the more we keep talking about going, probably a bad thing for our families that have to listen to us. I'm so excited to visit the infamous Checkpoint and have a drink with all you fine people. Believe me if we get our whole group to go I think you will hear us coming a mile away haha.

Well I don't know the point of this blog other than for all of us in the snowy cold to have a place to complain about the nasty weather. We are free from earthquakes and hurricanes though so keep that in mind when you think you can't take anymore

Sorry about the snow...we have had a lot of afternoon showers but some sun to keep us going...would it help if I told you I had to wear my jacket this afternoon because I was actually COLD??

Colleen, it looks like we have gotten atleast most of the group to come down and visit you guys, so far we have temporarily set aside thurs feb 16th.

its going to be -30 tonite! ugh winter sucks, hence the reason we go away to +30 haha

yes we are getting really excited, only 57 sleeps to go! weeeee

Yes Colleen that makes me feel much better haha Nah just kidding. The weather actually was warmer over the holidays!

We've already started a countdown...I don't even remember how many sleeps it is now but its getting closer See ya on the 16th!
