We were hit very hard with the last two storms to hit Vancouver Island. We have been out of power for 9 of the last 15 days. We prayed that we would have it back on and sure enough in came back on last night.
We would like to wish everyone on the Checkpoint board a very Merry Christmas and may 2007 be "your year"

Here is a little something to ponder whilst you are cooking your goose.
The picture on the nightstand.
After a long night of making love, he notices a photo of another man on her nightstand by the bed. He begins to worry. "Is this your husband?" he nervously asks.
"No silly," she replies, snuggling up to him.
"Your boyfriend then?" he continues.
"No not at all," she says nibbling at his ear.
"Is it your Dad or your brother?"
"No, no, no!!! she answers.
"Well, who in the hell is he then?" he demands.
"That's me before the surgery."
