Hola to all Mini-Fiesta attendees. The approximate starting time for the big event is 5 p.m. on February 22nd.

Here is a list of the attendees that have confirmed so far:

Fabulous, Colleen!! Looks like I picked a great week for my first trip to paradise!! I will definitely make plans to drop by the Checkpoint and buy you a birthday drink! Will you be there on the 22nd? Not working, I hope!! Any big birthday plans?

Wouldn't I just love to be at Checkpoint to celebrate Colleen's birthday! Alas, I'll just have to wait for everyone to post their versions of the gathering. What a great place to meet new friends, Rustyhalo. You'll have a wonderful time. Colleen and Mark are the best and you'll be so glad you are taking time to meet and greet them - and in this case, celebrate with them!

Thanks so much for the warm welcome, Arik. I am getting so psyched up about my first trip to the D.R. !!
I've met so many warm & friendly people through this message board. Although I've never been further south than Mexico, it almost feels like I already know people in Sosua. I'm sooooo looking forward to meeting people I've made friends with on the board. Hope lots are there at the same time so we can have a big party at the Checkpoint. And what a stroke of luck that Colleen's birthday is during the week I'll be there!
