You should see some of the prizes available.
Trips to Ocean world and the Blue Lagoon, various restaurant deals, jewellery, cakes and the list goes on and on.
Well done Colleen for organising.
Lets all hope we can all manage to raise plenty for the Sosua Kids charity.

Spanky, Mark, Robyne and I worked our ASSES off yesterday- I am still exhausted!!!
HOWEVER,
We raised a WHOPPING 21,450 PESOS for Sosua Kids- I will put a copy of the list of prizes and winners out for all of you to see!

lol well now Marks background makes the honorable mentions once again, geepers you guys I have been saying that all along, that his backside er I mean background is worth honorable mentions.
So my question is or rather an offer, I would love to take part in something llike this when we finally get over there! How bout something the end of Feb. or beginning week of March? Used to bar tend to put myself through University, although we are not mentioning how many years ago that was!!!!!

Congratulations, Mark and Colleen!!!! It sounds like it was a fabulous event and from the amount of pesos raised, Sosua's kids are definitely the benefactors. I can't wait to be involved in another fundraiser this winter. You guys work so hard and are so generous - you make the world a better place! Mark does look pretty good from behind but seriously, he's right out there doing his thing for Sosua Kids, too. Again, congratulations for a labour of love well done!

By the by, now is a great time to get school supplies really cheap to bring over to the DR.
Most of the larger stores are putting the things on sale so we went shopping yesterday. got enough school supplies for 30 kids for under a $100.
We are still wanting to do a sponsor thing but will have to talk Colleen as to how we do that. Can't wait but still cant start counting sleeps yet cause it would drive me nuts!
