A couple of things you might be able to help me with.
We're in the process of buying an apartment in Cabarete. We will be in DR on the 14th June for a week to meet the lawyer etc (thank you!)
But, it looks like the property might not be finished in time (we were planning to stay there) so we may not be able to complete.
So...
As this will be the first time we'll be arranging our own transport from the airport, would you advise booking in advance, or just grab a cab their? If in advance, do you have a friendly, reliable cabbie? And how much should it be to Cabarete?
Secondly, if we can't move in there, how easy is it to get reasonably priced accomadation at short notice? We might stay a night or two in Sosua, so we can spend some pesos at your bar!
Even if everything goes smoothly, we'll probably have a taxi ride through to Sosua one evening... or more!
