Well I titled this thread appropriately as that is what we did.
Or should I say that is what Colleen did.
She is amazing!!
I proposed to guest bartend ( in the beginning selfishly... to spend time with Colleen ) then suggested we give all tips to Sosua Kids.
Well she ran with it... I went to the river with my Dominican friends ( an awesome day ) and by the time I got back Colleen had made an event to Remember. She had a 2 page list of prizes donated... and then some ideas !!!
Some fun we had!!!
Mark was his wonderful behind the scenes man and we couldn't have done what we did with out him. From letting me run wild in his domain to "Clean up in isle 2". He was our Man.
Clive(aka Spanky) ROCKED!!! The party really started at the same time as his shift and he stepped up to the plate and showed everyone a good time.
All of the sponsors ( including... Rubi92.5 FM, Britannia Pub, Ocean World, Debby's Pantry, Patrick's Jewelry, Jolly Roger, Common Ground,etc.etc) My apologies to all that I don't mention but the list will be posted soon. All the sponsors gave to the kids and ensured we had a very successful event.
Still can't believe Colleen did all that while I was at the river having a little Dominican party
Brooke sold the winning ticket for the 50/50 ticket and the Honorable Alan who was the lucky winner returned his share to Sousa Kids. Yea!!!!!
Barb (Britannia) is the ticket selling Queen and shall here by invited to all Sosua Kids events.
In all we raised over 21,000 pesos for Sousa Kids.
It was an event to Remember and one to out do over and over.
Love to all that give to our Kids
