I am the V.P. of www.beyondthebeach.ca , myself our President Olive (Dot on travel boards) and a committee member are vacationing with our spouses at the same time in January in Playa Dorada. We are holding a meet and greet at Playa Dorada Golf Clubhouse. We currently have between 25-30 members of (Debbie's Dominican Travel) who will attend.
There also will be representatives from some local charities such as The Dream Foundation, Sosua Kids, Fundaciσn Patria,and Mustard Seed. We will be making donations to them that day. Others attending will be donating educational & health supplies along with clothing. If you can make it all the better.
Planner (DR1) is looking after the arrangements for us.
Sunday January 25th. 2:00 PM P.D. Clubhouse
Please join us in helping the children of the Dominican Republic.

Thanks for the info Chris and hope that some of our forum members out there and that are vacationing in the area would be free to join you for the afternoon meet and greet.

6 Weeks from today is the Meet & Greet - looking forward to meeting lots of people.
Beyond the Beach Children's Foundation's board of directors has voted and, we hope lots come out to see the presentations of money to the charities we support in the Puerto Plata area.
Actually see where your donations are going!
